Write Hard Die Free Car Bling

Write Hard Die Free Car Bling
purchased this little charm back when I was starting to write my dissertation, as a motivation to get it done and thus, buy myself some freedom. Freedom has always been my middle name, and I figured a musician with a Ph.D. has a lot more possibilities in life than a musician without a Ph.D. I was right. “Write hard” was motivation to make time for this huge project with my full time job as a professor. Die Free meant, that once this long time goal was accomplished, I could die free of guilt– I had done it. And do it I did.

This piece is what I call a charm collage, many vintage elements here, some sterling, and all genuine stone, glass, and crystal. From top to bottom:

Lobster claw clasp (allows versatility; can hook on anything)
Bali barrel bead; copper bead
Blown glass flower rondelle
Vintage black glass with vintage rhinestone rondelles
Large emerald faceted glass drop, wire wrapped by hand
Metal dot bead; fuchsia Swarovski bi-cone 8 mm; carnelian carved skull with sterling end caps
Black faceted aurora borealis station beads
Sterling peace sign!
10mm faceted round Hematite; sterling rondelle
Turquois rhinestone
Write Hard Die Free Metal charm. 1 3/8” x 1 3/8”
